04.01.2006 - Silver Jubilee of ASA

Guests are always welcomed traditionally in ASA with flowers, flower chains, rose water and a paste of sandalwood on the forehead.

During the Christmas holidays 2005/2006 a delegation from Germany travelled to Aramboly to participate during the 25th-Anniversary.

Beside the local authorities like panchayat president, politicians, headmaster, lawyer, journalist, writer, Mr. Joerg Wolfer had to speak on stage, too. He and all speakers praised the noble social work done by Mr. Sukumaran and his coworkers and the generous support from Germany.

After the official speeches the children showed their colourful dance programmes with a lot of action and joy.

Three local cooks cooked a special dinner for 500 guests. Even former children were among the guests.

In general it was a very colourful, lively and successful celebration.
