1. History of ASA

1981 Mr. Sukumaran opened Annai Chidren's Home.
Later his wife and Mr. Joseph supported the project.
1983 Mr. Joerg Wolfer and Mr. Sukumaran met the first time.
They lived very simple.
The children and adolosents visited the local schools and training centres.
From the beginning Mr. Wolfer was impressed by the children's home.
1988 Mr. Sukumaran reported in German schools about the situation of the children in India
Together with the friends in Germany a conception af ASA was developed.
1989 ASA could move on their own land.
The children feel happy in the natural surroundings.
1997 opening of the village hospital in Layam.
2005 opening of Annai Hospital.
